This week... Lacrosse and Throwing/Catching

This week in physical education, students in grades 3-5 will be learning lacrosse skills. Lacrosse is a growing sport that works on hand-eye coordination and cardiovascular endurance. Students will be learning how to cradle, pass, and shoot a lacrosse ball. If you or your child are interested in learning more about the game and playing in a league or attending a camp, click the link below and click on "contact your local regional chapter" for information about lacrosse in the area.

Students in grades K-2 are working on their throwing and catching skills. The skills they are learning now will help them participate and enjoy a variety of sports and activities as they get older.
